PUR/PIR - rigid foam: Blocks, panels, and pre-cuts

Whether boards for vehicle, container or composite element construction, as slabstock for molded parts, segments, model-making or for customized structures and constructions: Polyurethane rigid construction foams made by puren prove themselves as high-performance insulating material.

Special applications for long-term use at temperatures of -196° C (e.g. insulation of liquid gas transportation tanks) up to +200° C (e.g. insulation of superheated steam lines) or higher compressive strengths up to 5 MPa can be realized when using puren products.

Slabstock in densities from 30 to 300 kg/m³ and up to 5 m long in B1, B2 and B3 class building material can be produced on a continuous slabstock line. These blocks can be supplied either as blanks or processed by CNC machines.

• Short-term temperature resistance: up to +250° C (depending on type of foam)
• Water absorption acc. to DIN EN 12087: approx. 3 % by volume
• Coefficient of vapor diffusion resistance: 40-200
• Tolerance of thicknesses (unpolished): ±0.7 mm, grooving possible
• Does NOT drop off while burning
• Closed cell content acc. to DIN ISO 4590: 90-95 %
• Shaped parts for: Metal profiles, sandwich elements, automotive industry, refrigerating/freezer vehicles (laminated box superstructure), radomes, wind channels, pipelines
• Manufacture of complicated molded parts/designs
• Harmless from a biological and building ecology point of view, non-rotting, recyclable, mould- and mildew-resistant
• CFC- and HCFC-free
• Insulating material (acc. to DIN EN 13165, TCG (WLS) 0.021– 0.05 W/(m∙K))
